Sweet and sourness compliment
Our meager meals of late, while
Steel and rocks we negotiate
On bruised and bleeding hands
Stone shadows do not a person make
Nor iron curtains a blockade
Karma kindness must be shared
Stirred like sugar in lemonade
In the morning, when I rise
And push the curtains back
I will share a smile with you
To wash away our pain
