Beach Night

Sand slips between my toes
Silently I walk
Next to my partner
He reaches for my hand
And pretending not to notice
I veer away to the whispering ocean

Gazing into the waves
Pounding surf drives in
Deep dark blue with light froth
Golden lights shine into my eyes
Reaching for me
Drawing me into the depths

I stand at the edge
Toes damp with spray
Smelling the deep scent
The rhythm rocks my body
Breathe deeply salt tickling my throat
I walk into the surf, ignoring the calls

Pebbles caress my feet
Wet cold rushes up my body
Pushing into my folds
Inky darkness calls me
Promised pain and pleasure
Breathing deeply I dive into the surf
